About the project

About Nigeria Crypto Exchanges

An independent editorial project comparing the cryptocurrency exchanges that actually serve Nigerian traders — ranked by regulatory status at the SEC, naira deposit routes, P2P liquidity and real all-in fees.

How the Data Is Compiled

Everything on the main page is compiled from exchanges' published fee schedules, SEC Nigeria and NRS notices, and public review data — and re-checked monthly. Where a claim can't be verified against a primary source, it doesn't make the page.

Editorial Independence

Licence standing is the heaviest factor in every score, which is why SEC-licensed venues sit above better-known offshore brands. We accept no paid placements, no sponsored positions and no pay-to-remove. Where a claim can't be verified — a fee, a rate, a review score — we say so on the page instead of guessing.

How It's Funded

Some "Visit…" buttons on the ranking are affiliate links: if you sign up through one, the exchange pays us a commission. Commissions never influence the order — the two SEC-licensed picks have outranked better-paying offshore giants in every edition so far. Read the full disclosure.
